IBM Power - IBM i system upgrades:  HiComp provides services to assist customers with upgrading their System i operating systems and migration services to new System i hardware.  In addition, HiComp personnel can assist with performance analysis and system optimization.

HiComp provides services to implement IBM's PowerVM VIOS on POWER7 servers.  Whether a stand alone system using the integrated PowerVM web interface for virtualization management, or an IBM Hardware Management Console running HMC or Systems Director code to manage a farm of POWER7 systems, HiComp has the expertise to assist with implementing all of these solutions.

Using solutions from IBM, Profound Logic, BCD Software and others, HiComp programming personnel can assist with making your 5250 "green screen" applications accessible from a web browser.  Whether through the use of simple web-facing technology or a more comprehensive approach of enhancing existing applications to be more web-friendly, HiComp has the experience to make your transition to HTML a pleasant and productive one.

From assisting with power and UPS sizing requirements, to setup and integration, HiComp has personnel skilled in deploying IBM's BladeCenter technology.  With option modules ranging from Gigabit and 10 Gigabit network switches to 8Gb/s Fibre Channel switches and the integrated KVM management modules, HiComp can provide pre-implementation sizing and planning services as well as assisting with integrating IBM BladeCenter option modules and servers into your existing infrastructure.

HiComp has the skill sets needed to deploy a comprehensive and scalable virtual "cloud computing" environment in your datacenter using VMware's vSphere family of products.  From the entry level ESXi platform to Site Recovery Manager and vShield security platforms, HiComp has the experience to ensure a successful implementation of VMware solutions.  Additionally, HiComp works with a whole suite of complementary VMware add-ons from vendors such as Quest Software, Vision Solutions and Veeam to deploy the supporting infrastructure needed to manage, monitor, backup and replicate your virtual environment.
